To celebrate the first “snow day” of 2020, besties Pati and Barbara starred in a portrait session at the Webster Arboretum at Kent Park in Webster, NY!

I always love seeing these two! We all first met at my “Autumn at the Arboretum” mini sessions and their infectious laughter and carefree spirits were such a treat to capture in images!

The landscape at the Webster Arboretum looks so different with each season. This was my first time photographing here in the winter and I’m thinking that this is one of my most favorite seasons for pictures now.

2020 has been quite a year and spending time with these beautiful spirits reminded me that we can choose to find joy in what’s already there in front of us, most importantly, our relationships with family and friends and the beauty of nature and the changing seasons. What is precious doesn’t have to be found thousands of miles away (although Pati traveled from Germany and Barbara from Austria!). I am blessed to meet inspiring people through my experience as a photographer. And even luckier to have the chance to capture life through the lens for you!
