Bride-To-Be Portrait Session with Savannah
The Lodge at Shadow Hill – Ontario, NY

I was so happy to spend time with bride-to-be Savannah during her visit to her soon-to-be wedding venue, The Lodge at Shadow Hill. She had flown all the way across the country from San Diego, California back home to Rochester, NY to finish the wedding planning and still managed to fit a portrait session with me into her extremely busy schedule. I was grateful for the chance and so glad we did this because she is absolutely stunning!

With every couple whose wedding I will be photographing, I gift them with a complimentary engagement photo session. It’s a great way for us to get comfy with each other considering that I will be with them for almost every minute of their wedding day to capture it all! In this instance, Jimmy, the groom-to-be had to remain in San Diego due to his military service, so this particular session became all about our bride to be! I am very much looking forward to meeting the groom on August 21, 2020 – their wedding day!

This white birch tree sparked an idea to recreate a childhood photo of Savannah. We called these the Tree Hugging Photos, version 2.0! Isn’t she just gorgeous?

The trails are so much fun to meander down and the property is actually a maple syrup farm! There are beautiful trees everywhere and the forest setting is perfect for portraits.

I am so excited for Savannah and Jimmy’s wedding at the Lodge at Shadow Hill! It’s going to be an amazing day celebrating two beautiful people and their love for each other. I’m the luckiest person in the world to capture these moments for them!
